Dr.

Pauline Marty, a trained expert in economy and sociology with a Ph.D.

in land planning and urbanism, conducts research at the Université de technologie de Troyes focusing on territorial dynamics and sustainability.

Her work encompasses the interdisciplinary themes of bioeconomy and the agro-food system, examining their roles in territorial reconfiguration and governance, as well as the material flows involved.

She has developed expertise in local school food projects and is currently broadening her research to include agricultural metabolism and sustainability assessments of value chains.

Additionally, Dr.

Marty engages in participative research to foster grassroots dynamics for collaborative sustainability and is exploring ecological building and renovation through the lens of territorial metabolism.

Her research informs her teaching in governance and territorial metabolism, and she supervises various student projects and research initiatives, including a Ph.D.

thesis funded by the European Union.
